Vi rekommenderar att du uppdaterar befintlig version med uppdateringsguiden. Klicka på "Start->Alla program->SignLab ... 8.0->Uppdatera SignLab...".

Har du även rippdelen bör du leta efter uppdateringar
via Start->Alla program->SignLab ... 8.0->Uppdatera Visual Production Manager..."

Windows Vista och SignLab 7.1:

CADlink är klara med anpassningen av SignLab v7.1  till  Windows Vista.
Den versionen heter SignLab version 7.1 revidering 1 bygge 9. 
 

Så här skriver CADlink om bygge 9:

 

The SignLab Roadmap to Vista Support [Ottawa, Canada. April 5, 2007]—Many of our dealers and customers have asked whether or not SignLab supports the new Microsoft release of Vista™. The answers are found below. SignLab 7.1 Build 9 - Shipping as at April 13, 2007 SignLab Supported in Vista (32 Bit only) Using SignLab in a 32 bit version of Vista, our customers are able to run the product in the following 2 modes: A single user workstation - as with existing versions of Windows. All users sharing a workstation in one shop are able to log in to the computer using a shared password in order to run SignLab. In this scenario they would share the same SignLab program settings.   As with previous versions of Windows, SignLab does not install in the "Program Folder". SignLab has always installed in the CADlink folder - this has not changed in Vista. One of the features in Vista is that all applications installed within the Program folder are able to take advantage of enhanced security features which provide a special protected environment to reduce the risk of applications being affected by viruses, worms, etc. By installing into a CADlink folder, security to the SignLab application is not stronger or weaker than it has been in the past. All additional SignLab functionality is supported as with previous versions of Microsoft Windows products.

Snabblänk Corel X3 --> SignLab 7.x / ES2:

Background
SignLab has a long history of allowing seemless transfer of files from CorelDRAW.

This patch is applicable to CorelDRAW x3 and SignLab version 7.0, 7.1 or SignLab ES2 users.

Instructions

1. Click on the link below to download the "corelx3.exe" file to a location on your harddrive

2. Once you have downloaded the "corelx3.exe" file, go to that location and double-click it to run the file

3. When the install program prompts you for an "installation folder", click on the "Browse" button to navigate to the location that your SignLab program is installed. !!(It is critical that you navigate to the location that SignLab is installed, failure to specify the correct location will cause the update to fail). Once you have navigated to the correct location, click OK, "Next" and "Finish" to complete the process. If the installer tells you that the file already exists, click on "Yes" to overwrite the existing file.

4. Run CorelDRAW x3 and you should now see the Corel to SignLab tool in the CorelDRAW Application Launcher

SignLab v7.0 build 4  (421MB) (kopiera över licensfilerna från din gamla v7.0 CD)
SignLab e6.1 build 17  (689MB)

Allt som behövs för att bränna en komplett installations-CD. Packa upp filen så att filstrukturen blir intakt och bränn på CD. Filen hämtas från CADlinks FTP.

Kan behövas för att SignLab v5, e6 och v7 ska fungera bra  i Windows 2000 / XP eller för dig som lagt in XP SP2. Packa upp filen och kör programmet. Nyare versioner kan finnas på tillverkarens hemsida, välj att ta hem filen "Hasp User Setup.zip" för automatisk installation.

Snabbknapp mellan Corel - SignLab v7.1

Installerar du SignLab före Corel, finns inte knappen för att enkelt föra över skärdata från Corel till SignLab. Istället för att ominstallera SignLab, kan du tanka hem filen och dubbelklicka på den för att installera.

Felmeddelande: Error Locating Security Device eller liknande

• Felmeddelandet Error Locating Security Device 4294967295 betyder att SignLab inte hittar hårdvarulåset (dongle) som ska sitta i en parallellport eller USBport beroende på vilken typ av hårdvarulås du använder.
  - Kontrollera att låset sitter i ordentligt. Se till att datorn är avstängd när du håller på med sladdar och kontakter.

• Starta SignLab. Välj meny  Hjälp - Om Signab...    I fönstret som dyker upp ser du ett serienummer längst ner.
   
  
  Den vänstra bilden visar att SignLab inte hittat låset. Den högra bilden visar att SignLab hittat rätt lås genom att skriva 0 i sista delen av serienummeret. 
  Är det andra siffror än ovan ska du kolla att du har rätt lösenord** till rätt lås och till rätt version av programmet.
  För dig som kör SignLab e6: prova även att ta byta namn på filen SIGNLAB6.LCF Glöm inte att ändra tillbaka filnamnet om det inte hjälpte.

** Har du SignLab version 7.x kräver SignLab att licensfilerna matchar låset. Har du en äldre version används unika lösenord istället.
